Youngest Indian Debut Records in T20 Cricket

Before Sooryavanshi’s debut, the youngest Indian to play a T20 International was Shafali Verma, who made her international debut against South Africa in September 2019 at 15 years and 239 days.

Among Indian men, the previous youngest T20I debutant was Washington Sundar, who played against Sri Lanka in December 2017 at 18 years and 80 days.
