Mahhi (Mahi) Vij and Jay Bhanushali, a popular couple on TV, have shocked their fans with some big news. They said they were splitting up after being married for almost 15 years.
People have been speculating for months that they were having problems in their marriage. Mahhi and Jay both put a note on their Instagram Stories to explain their choice.
Going for peace and friendship
It was clear what they meant. They are separating because they understand each other, not because they disagree. Life is a journey, and today we choose to part ways. But we will always have each other’s backs. “Our core values have always been peace, growth, kindness, and humanity,” they wrote.
The couple made it clear that their story does not have any bad guys or antagonists. “Even though we’re going in different directions, there is no bad guy in this story and nothing bad about this choice.” “We picked peace over trouble and sanity over everything else,” they said.
Determined to share parenting
Mahhi and Jay made it clear that they still put their kids first. They have three kids named Tara, Khushi, and Ranjveer. They said they would be strong as co-parents.
The parents said, “For the sake of our children Tara, Khushi, and Ranjveer, we promise to be the best parents, the best friends, and do whatever else it takes to do what is right for them.”
Even though they are going their different ways, they plan to keep being friends and helping each other.
“As friends, we still respect and help each other and stay close.” “As we move forward, we ask that you treat us with respect, love, and kindness,” they said.
