The day Nita Ambani went to the Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple for darshan was red and gold. She wore a Jamdani saree and temple jewels with Lord Shiva and Lord Shrinathji on it.

On April 19, which was also Mukesh Ambani’s birthday and the lucky day of Akshaya Tritiya, the Ambani family went to the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. With their sons Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani, as well as Shloka Mehta and Radhika Merchant, the event was a mix of love and joy in a traditional setting.

With this important background, Nita Ambani looked stunning in a red taffeta silk saree that felt both formal and elegant.

A vivid red saree is very beautiful, and Nita Ambani recently wore one. His birthday was April 19, and he was honoured. It was seen that the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) went to the Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple with his family to pray. The head of the family, Nita Ambani, wore a red saree that looked like a Jamdani made of Dhakai silk. She wore a handmade saree with flower designs and a top that matched.

Nica Ambani, who is known for her love of emeralds and diamonds, chose a classic red-and-gold outfit instead. It’s not often that she doesn’t wear something that makes a statement, and this time was no different. She paired her saree with a gold chain. The chain had rows of medallions that looked like coins and had Hindu gods cut into them. Lord Shiva was carved into the biggest coin. Lord Shrinathji, a form of Lord Krishna who appears as a seven-year-old child, was on her earrings. She finished off her look with a diamond ring and a stack of red and gold bracelets.

Mickey Contractor kept her makeup very simple

Mickey Contractor, who did her makeup, kept it simple so that it would go with the red saree. The whole look was pulled together by a red bindi, kajal, and lips that were not dyed. She let her hair hang loosely in soft waves that framed her face.

The beautiful six-yard drape was made by the famous draper Anbarasu Mahadevan, and it had beautiful weaving and flower embroidery. The saree looked better with wide, hand-embroidered edges that let the light organza fabric shimmer softly with every move.

Nita Ambani has been supporting traditional Indian weaving for a long time to show off the skills of craftspeople. She started Swadesh, a platform to help craft communities keep making a living, and she often wears sarees that were made by those communities. Her clothes and jewels often have parts from Hindu lore in them. She recently wore a Bandha Ikat “Ram Shila” saree from Swadesh. It was handmade by Shri Harishankar Meher, an artist who won the National Award, and it had the holy Ram writing on it. Before her younger son Anant’s wedding in 2024, she planned a mass wedding service (samuhik vivah) for over 50 poor couples. She wore a red Banarasi silk saree with the holy Gayatri Mantra printed on it.

In what ways does Nita Ambani’s dress reflect her faith?

She had kohl-lined eyes, subtle pink makeup, defined brows, and softly glossed mauve lips to go with the bright red bindi (sindoor) on her forehead. Her hair was curled in soft waves that were split in the middle and left loose. These waves gave her face a soft frame. The famous Mickey Contractor did the makeup, and the whole look was carefully put together.

The rest of the Ambani family wore beautiful traditional clothes. Mukesh wore a cream kurta-pyjama with a brown Nehru coat. Akash wore a pink floral shirt. Anant wore a blue kurta-pyjama with a jacket. Shloka and Radhika wore beautiful kurta sets.

Nita Ambani wore the saree in a traditional, classic way

The front folds were neatly folded, and the pallu fell smoothly over her shoulder. She looked humble and elegant, perfect for a trip to the temple.

A matched shirt with half-length arms decorated with detailed hand embroidery, a wide U-shaped collar, and a short bottom made the outfit look fitted and beautiful. In Indian culture, the deep red colour is often linked to good luck and life. It gave the outfit a warm, joyful glow that went perfectly with the happy family milestone.
