Apple Inc has recently launched its entirely new and affordable MacBook Neo for both office workers and other tech lovers. The newly launched MacBook is set to give an intense competition to both Chromebooks and Windows laptops. According to the latest data obtained from Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst of Apple Headquarters in Cupertino, Apple is now planning to add touchscreen to its second-generation Apple MacBook Neo and expecting to launch it on 2027.

The next-generation Apple MacBook Neo have A19 Chipset i.e. significant upgrade from A18 Pro chipset present in both MacBook Pro and iPhone 16 Pro. Also, the device features a Liquid Retina display of 13 inches and a colorful round design.
Moreover, the new MacBook possesses a mechanical trackpad, Magic Keyboard, HD Camera, and dual USB Type C ports. The best thing is that it will offer a maximum of 16 hours battery life. Apple will Extend the On-Cell Touch Feature to Low-cost MacBooks
Apple Inc. is also planning to launch the first touchscreen Mac as a redesigned MacBook Pro with OLED display during the later months of 2026. Reports have revealed that MacBook Pro will use on-cell touch technology to integrate the sensors into the device’s display layer directly.
In this way, the new MacBook Pro will reduce thickness and boost responsiveness simultaneously. As the Mac Operating System i.e. macOS 27 features native touch support, Apple Inc will extend the same touch feature to MacBook Neo and various other low-cost models as well.

Especially, the reports obtained from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg revealed that Apple Watch Neo will be the potential new launch of the Apple Group.
Many laptop companies/competitors of Apple, like ASUS, Acer, HP, and Lenovo have already started offering touchscreen devices in the same price range. Before Apple’s plan to include touchscreen feature in their next generation MacBook Neo, it launched the device in India at the most affordable price up to data i.e., at only Rs 69,900. Even though the price is reasonable, the recently launched MacBook Neo weights at only 1.23 kgs and comes with the aluminum build to serve as a lightweight and a premium MacBook device.
Other features of the Neo MacBook are Wi-Fi 6E, 2 USB-C ports, Bluetooth 6, and a headphone jack. If this is not enough, the MacBook has a FaceTime camera of 1080 pixel and dual side-firing speakers equipped with Spatial Audio across the hardware device.
